MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Specs
The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is built on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process technology and features a 1+3+4 CPU architecture. According to MediaTek, the Dimensity 8300 is 20% faster in CPU and 60% more powerful in GPU than the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
MediaTek Dimensity 8300 brings an octa-core processor. The prime CPU is 1x Cortex-A715 clocked @3.35 GHz, alongside 3x Cortex-A715 @3.0 GHz and 4x Cortex-A510 @2.2 GHz. In all ramifications, it’s a big upgrade in comparison to its predecessor.

Moreover, the Dimensity 8300 chipset supports LPDDR5X RAM at up to 8,533Mbps speed and UFS 4.0 storage tech with Multi-Circular Queue (MCQ) support.
MediaTek also stepped up the graphical performance. The Dimensity 8300 has an Arm Mali-G615 MC6 GPU which brings up to 60% better performance and 55% improved power efficiency at peak speeds compared to its predecessor- Dimensity 8200.
Another highlight of the Dimensity 8300 chip is the AI capabilities. The APU 780 supports Generative AI with stable diffusion and has support for LLM with up to 10 billion parameters. The Imagiq 980 ISP supports up to 320MP camera sensors and 4K video recording at 60fps.
