Motorol Edge 30 Ultra leaked: Features 144Hz display and 68W fast charge

Motorola is set to release a new flagship smartphone. The new company flagship device will be called the Moto Edge X but will be known in the global market as Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

As with every other smartphones, the specs of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has been leaked. According to TechnikNews, the Edge 30 Ultra has the internal codename “Rogue” and an external codename “HiPhi” and it’s said to have the model number XT-2201.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra leaked specs

From the report detailing the full specs of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, the device features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel. Comes with 144Hz refresh rate and certification for HDR10+. It will run Android 12 out of the box and will get two years of Android OS updates.

The chipset inside the Edge 30 Ultra is Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chip. It’s paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage options of 128GB and 256GB. But, there is no storage expansion via microSD card for this device.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will feature a triple rear camera set up; a 50MP main camera (OV50A), a 50MP ultra-wide (Samsung JN1), and a 2MP depth (OV02B1B). Upfront, it will have a 60MP selfie camera. The main camera has OIS and both back and front camera can record 4k videos.

This device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charge tech. According to the report, the 68W fast charge can top the battery from 0 to 100% in about 35 minutes. However, there is wireless or reverse wireless charge.

Other features of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra are; IP52 rating, dedicated Google Assistant button, no 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers, WLAN 6, Sub-6 5G, and Bluetooth 5.2.

This device is expected to be launch in China as Moto Edge X next month. While in January, the device will make its way to the global market as Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
