Motorola Edge: Motorola Phone is launching a more affordable mid-range phone along with its flagship phone. This new phone will also have similar design and display with the flagship phone but slightly lower overall performance.
The Motorola Edge is the new high mid-range smartphone from Motorola. It is the lower and more affordable version of the Motorola Edge Plus. And as a premium mid-range phone it comes with most of the features present in modern mid-range phones.

Build and Display
The phone comes with Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), aluminum frame, plastic back. Its screen size is 6.7 OLED display type with a small punch hole display at the top left. It also has a very small bezer and comes with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~385 ppi density) with a Corning Gorilla Glass protector.
There is 90Hz refresh rate and it is splash resistance. A 90Hz refresh rate for a mid-range phone is really good. Not all premium mid-range phones comes with such feature enabled.

Chipset, RAM and Internal Storage
Motorola decided to power this new smartphone with the recent Qualcomm SOC. The phone uses the Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G (7 nm) which is very popular for its many powers. It also uses the Octa-core (1×2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime & 1×2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver) CPU and Adreno 620 GPU for image and games processing.
So far, the phone comes in two variants; 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. There is also space for external storage via microSD card.
Camera
At the back, the phone comes with a 64 megapixel main shooter, 8 megapixel telephoto with 2x optical zoom, 16 megapixel ultrawide and TOF 3D, (depth) Camera. The rear cameras are placed linearly at the back of the phone.
Upfront, the comes with a 25 megapixel selfie camera placed in a punch hole at the top left. Cameras at the rear is capable of shooting 4K videos, but there is no OIS, gyro-EIS, features enabled.

Software and Battery
The phone run out of the box Android 10 latest software. This phone is powered by a non removable 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charge but no wireless fast charge enabled. Motorola could have done more with the specifications of this new phone. But, we have to wait for official price and see if it will be well priced or overly priced for its features.
