The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics card was launched in May 2022 with an MSRP of $1,099. But due to chip shortages, you can get it at a higher price from some retailers. On the other hand, the Nvidia RTX 3090 was launched in 2020 with a price tag of $1,499.

So between these two PC graphics cards, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is more expensive. The Nvidia RTX 3090 has been available for a long time, while the Radeon RX 6950 XT will be available for purchase from May 10th, 2022.

An early result of when these two flagship PC graphics cards were compared has shown that when it comes to performance, the latest AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT is 11% faster than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 non-Ti.

As per the performance test, we are looking at several games that were tested at 4K resolutions here with max in-game features. We don’t know how the RX 6950 XT will fair yet when compared to the RTX 3090 Ti, however, we do know that it slightly outperforms the non-Ti version of the Nvidia RTX 3090.
