List of Games Tested
In total, we tested fifteen games. 9 games were tested in standard performance: Borderland 3, A Plague Tale, Far Cry 6, Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon, Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Warhammer 3, and Watch Dog Legions.
While in Ray Tracing performance we tested six games: Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Minecraft, Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Exodus Enhanced, Control Ultimate Edition, and Bright Memory Infinite.

4K Gaming Performance
In a nine games average per second comparison (at 4K Ultra settings), the Nvidia RTX 4080 was 16% faster than the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti GPU. What’s more interesting is the very fact that the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti didn’t win in any of the games tested. The RTX 4080 was completely victorious in all games.
And when Ray tracing was enabled, the Nvidia RTX 4080 extended the wining. It was 17% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti. And of the six games tested, the RTX 4080 was superior in all.
1440p Gaming Performance
Under the 1440p resolution, we started with ray tracing games. And the RTX 4080 was 26% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti. While in standard gaming performance (without ray tracing), the RTX 4080 beats the RTX 4070 Ti by 15%. Just like the case with the 4K settings, the RTX 4080 won all the games tested. But it’s good to note that Both graphics cards can run 1080p ultra settings very fast.

Pricing and Availability
Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti vs Nvidia RTX 4080 are expensive cards. But the RTX 4080 is more pricey. It has an MSRP of $1,199, while the RTX 4070 Ti has an MSRP of $799.
