Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti vs RTX 3070 Ti: 4K Gaming Performance

These are the lists of 9 games tested: A Plague Tale, Borderland 3, Far Cry 6, Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon, Horizon Zero Dawn, Red Dead Redemption 2, Warhammer 3, and Watch Dog Legions. In a nine games average per second comparison (at 4K Ultra settings), the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti was 60% faster than the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU. And when ray tracing is enabled, the margin got even wider to 99% in favor of the RTX 4070 Ti.

The difference in 1440p is significant but not as loud as that of 4K. Thus, when we tested 1440p gaming performance, Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti GPU continued its domination with a 43% lead over the RTX 3070 Ti. And when Ray tracing was turned on, the differences increased to 60%.

Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti vs RTX 3070 Ti: 1080p Gaming Performance

Both graphics cards can run 1080p ultra settings very fast. But overall performance favors the RTX 4070 Ti with a 34% lead. And when Ray Tracing is enabled the RTX 3070 Ti comes behind by 54%.

Pricing and Availability

The latest Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti is more expensive with an MSRP of $799 but custom cards can be seen in the range of $849 to $1,110. Both cards are now available for purchase.
