OPPO Reno 8 Pro: OPPO has launched the OPPO Reno 8 Pro in China and you can purchase the smartphone for $559. This is the first smartphone to feature the newly released Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 5G chip from Qualcomm. It’s very similar to the Reno 8 Pro+ with a few key differences.
The Reno 8 Pro comes in three storage configurations. Its base model starts with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the other models come with 8 + 256GB and 12 + 256GB of storage. Note that although the Reno 8 Pro is currently a China-only exclusive smartphone, its network band has support for network carriers/providers outside China. Key features of OPPO Reno 8 Pro
The OPPO Reno 8 Pro features a 6.62-inches AMOLED display, with FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The chipset inside the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 5G with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno GPU. The chipset is paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

Some of the key differences between the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ are that the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ comes with a bigger display, has a centered punch-hole, and features the Dimensity 8100-Max 5G chipset from MediaTek.
On the rear, the Reno 8 Pro has three cameras while upfront it has a single selfie camera. It has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 32MP IMX709 (f/2.4, RGBW) front-facing camera. The rear camera can shoot steady videos in 4k resolution while the 32MP front camera can shoot steady videos in 1080p resolution.

The OPPO Reno 8 Pro boots ColorOS 12.1 based on the Android 12 operating system. OPPO has promised at least two years of software updates and three years of monthly security patches for this phone. The Reno 8 Pro also has support for Google Mobile Services and users can download apps and games from the Google Play Store.
OPPO Reno 8 Pro is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. You can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in about 30 minutes. It has no wireless charge and no reverse wireless charge features. This phone is equipped with the sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint reader that unlocks the phone quickly and safely.
