PlayStation 5 price in India has been increased by Sony for the first time since 2020. The PlayStation 5 price in India was INR 49,990 at launch but now it’s priced at INR 54,990 which is about a 10 percent increase above its original price.

The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition price in India was increased too. At launch in 2020, the PS5 Digital Edition price in India was INR 39,990 but currently, it is priced at INR 44,990 which is about a 12.5 percent increase above its original price.

Before now, Microsoft has also raised the prices of the Xbox Series X and S multiple times in the country along with some controllers and accessories getting price bumps too. So it was only a matter of time too before Sony increases the price of the PS5 which they have finally done.

Though for now, only the prices of the PlayStation got increased in India. The PS5 accessories like DualSense controller, Pulse 3D headphones, DualSense Charging Station, and HD camera remain the same.
