Recent reports has it that due to the global chop shortages issues, Samsung will be suspending the production of the Galaxy S21 FE. While users are expecting the low-cost flagship Galaxy S21 FE to hit the market August, the reports claimed the Korean Tech giant is suspending its production.
According to Bloomberg, Samsung Electronics has responded to the suspension report. The company claims that no decision has been made yet as to wether or not the production of the Galaxy S21 FE will be suspended.

A spokesperson to the company only said, “We cannot discuss the details of unreleased products, but the so-called suspension of production has not yet been determined”. The original report out of South Korea is no longer available. The web content has been deleted.
Previous report speculated that users should expect the Fan Edition of the Galaxy S21 mobile to launch between August and October of 2021. Unlike the previous Galaxy S20 FE, this new Fan Edition will be more of a flagship. This is because it’s coming with flagship features and materials.

Among the specs to expect in the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. This is same chipset used in the flagship Galaxy S21 series. But, it’s physical appearance looks more like the Galaxy Note series.
According to a leak on Geekbench, the model of the phone is SM-G990B, and it comes with 8GB of RAM and the Android 11 operating system. This SoC uses a 1+3+4 core design, and the super-large core frequency can reach 2.84GHz.

This smartphone is coming with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh. The Korean Herald, stated that the price of this device will be about 700,000 won ($629) and 800,000 won ($719) excluding tax. If this is true, it means the Galaxy S21 FE will be cheaper than the Galaxy S20 which retailed price tag was 899,800 won ($809).
The Galaxy S20 FE released last year was loved by many Samsung fans. According to report stats, Samsung sold over 2 million units of the Galaxy S20 FE within one month of listing. And this came as surprise to everyone even Samsung itself.

One of the major reason why people love the Fan Edition of the Samsung Galaxy is because it offers flagship features at affordable price.
As it stands, there is no official report as to if Samsung will suspend the Galaxy S21 FE. And there is still no official news if the shortage of chip plaguing the smartphone world will also affect the production of this device.
More details will be released between now and August. But for now, everything seem to be in motion for the Galaxy S21 FE to be released between August to October of 2021.
