The launch of phones in the Samsung Galaxy A-series is edging closer. Previous reports suggested that Samsung will first launch the Galaxy A53 5G in March and delay the launch of the Galaxy A73 5G till April. And maybe the Korean tech giant wants to use the Galaxy A53 to gather hype awaiting the Galaxy A73 5G (just like they did with the Galaxy S21 FE).
There have been lots of rumors and leaks about the Galaxy A53 5G, the latest is coming from the Google Play Console. The new listing of the highly anticipated bestseller Samsung phone on the Google Play Console reveals its chipset and a front image along with some key specifications.
The smartphone will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1200 chipset. The chipset has the model number S5e8825 and this soon-to-be-released chipset will be the successor to the Exynos 1080. The report has it that the Exynos 1200 chip features two high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 ones working at 2.0GHz. The CPU will be paired with the Mali G68 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will boot Android 12 out of the box and come with a 6.52-inch display, AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Its main camera will be a 64MP shooter with OIS, supported by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and two 5MP auxiliary modules.
In the RAM and storage department, the phone is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with a 25W fast charge support.
We also expect the smartphone to be both water and dust resistant just like its predecessor the Galaxy A52s 5G. If the pricing of the smartphone is right, this phone is in line to be a best seller just like its predecessors.
