The OPPO Find X5 smartphones is expected to launch by March of 2022 and the specification and price of the device has surfaced two months earlier. According to rumors, there will be three phones in the Find X5 series namely: Find X5, the Find X5 Pro, as well as the Find X5 Lite models.

Specifications of OPPO Find X5 (Expected)

The OPPO Find X5 might feature a 6.78-inch E4 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It is also expected to pack Samsung’s LTPO 2.0 technology and its display is said to deliver a color depth of 10bit.

According to the leak on Weibo, the chipset inside the OPPO Find X5 is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip. This chip will be paired with a 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offer up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage capacity.

OPPO Find X5 might feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). Other cameras at the rear might be: 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide lens, as well as a 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto lens with OIS and 2x optical zoom.

For selfies and video calling, there will be a 32MP Sony IMX615 shooter. A 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging support will be fueling the entire system.

According the post on Weibo, the OPPO Find X5 with 8GB RAM + 256GB of storage will cost about $710 (CNY 4,499). You can also get the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version for $789 (CNY 4,999). If this pricing is correct, it means the new Find X5 has same starting price as the previously released OPPO Find X3.
