Vivo just release some really interesting devices. The company just released its first Note phone called the Vivo X Note, its first tablet called the Vivo Pad, and its first foldable phone called the Vivo X Fold. And all these devices come with some really interesting specifications at a relatively good price.

The Vivo X Note features a massive 7-inch screen which is still a small screen compared to the 8.02-inches of the Vivo X Fold and 11-inches of the Vivo Pad. Let’s get you to know more about each of these Vivo devices.

Vivo X Note

The Vivo X Note is a premium flagship phone that features a massive 7-inches Samsung E5 AMOLED Panel. Its display resolution is QHD+ and the screen allows users to multitask with ease. According to Vivo, the unusual aspect ratio of 21:10 (3,080 x 1,440 px resolution), makes the Vivo X Note better than the competition in areas of media consumption and multitasking.

Under the screen is a big ultrasonic fingerprint reader (3D Sonic Max from Qualcomm). The under-display fingerprint reader is so big that it can read two fingerprints at the same time. And according to Vivo, registering two fingerprints once will increase security by about 50,000 times.

Under the hood of the Vivo X Note is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chip paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. Vivo also utilized the “Secure Processing Unit” (SPU) on the Snapdragon chip (the first time for the company) to improve the security of the phone.

There is a massive vapor chamber (47,132 mm²) and a graphite sheet to cool down the chipset. And as for the camera, the Vivo X Note comes with quad rear cameras. It features a 50MP ISOCELL GN1 sensor as the main camera. And to improve low light photography because of its bright f/1.57 aperture. It also has a periscope lens that has support for 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.

Then there is a 12MP telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. The ultra-wide camera uses the custom Vivo V1 ISP, which has the capability of running face detection even if you’re taking a photo of a group of 30 people.

The Vivo X Note is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for an 80W wired charge and 50W wireless charge. The phone comes in three colors Blue, Black, and Gray.

Vivo X Note Price

The starting price of the Vivo X Note is about $940 for the 8/256GB configuration. The models with 12/256GB and 12/512GB are priced at about $1,050 and $1,200 respectively. Pre-order for the phone starts today and you can book on in China now. Sales of the Vivo X Note will start on April 15th.

Vivo Pad

The Vivo Pad is an Android tablet from Vivo with a massive 11-inch display. It has support for stylus and keyboard to help users be more productive. The keyboard has a flip cover with a built-in kickstand that gives you this laptop-like experience more than a typical tablet.

The 11-inch display has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. The Vivo Pad also has support for Dolby Vision and the audio quality is excellent with the Dolby Atmos support for the speakers. To improve the quality of the front camera and Face Unlock, there is a 3D ToF sensor.

Under the hood of the Vivo Pad is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and the device boots the new branch of Vivo software, called the Origin OS HD. Using the NFC feature, you can easily pair your Vivo phone with the Vivo Pad and transfer files between both devices.

The USB-C port is rated for USB 3.2 Gen1 speeds (5 Gbps), so you can attach fast storage and external displays – up to 4K at 60 Hz. The Vivo Pad is just 6.55 mm thick, it is made out of aviation-grade aluminum and weighs about 498g.

No antenna lines are spoiling the clean lines of this slate, this is because Vivo hid the antenna under the display using the in-house developed technology. The Vivo Pad is powered by an 8,040 mAh battery with support for a 44W fast charging.

Vivo Pad Price

The starting price of the Vivo Pad is about $390 for the 8/128GB configuration. The model with 8/256GB is priced at about $470. Both the stylus and keyboard are sold separately. The stylus will cost you $55 and the keyboard will cost you $95 with the flip case priced at $35.

Vivo X Fold

Vivo X Fold is the first foldable smartphone from Vivo. When folded, the Vivo X Fold has an outer display size of 6.53-inches. And when it’s unfolded, the Vivo X Fold has an 8.03-inches display. Both the outer and inner display has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.

The folding display glass is the SCHOTT UTG (ultra-thin glass, Schott manufactures Samsung’s UTG). The Vivo X Fold uses an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint both for the outer and inner screen. The Vivo X Fold can close flat and can stay open at any angle between 60 and 120 degrees thanks to its aircraft-grade floating wing hinge.

Under the hood of the Vivo X Fold is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip paired with 12GB of RAM. The device comes with quad rear cameras, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, a periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide lens.

The Zeiss modes on this device include Texture Portrait, Motion Capture 3.0, Zeiss Super Night Scene, Zeiss Nature Color, and more. Both the outer and inner display has selfie cameras (making it two selfie cameras).

The Vivo X Fold is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that can recharge rapidly. It has support for a 66W fast wired charge that can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in about 37 minutes. The Vivo X Fold can also wirelessly charge at up to 50W and reverse wirelessly charge at 10W at the same time.
