The number of foldable phone users is rising every year and this year, Vivo is working on launching two new affordable phones to its foldable lineup. According to a new report from China, the Chinese company will launch two foldable phones and a new Pad on April 20.

The names of the foldable phones to be launched by Vivo are the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip while the new tablet will be called the Vivo Pad 2. The X Fold and Vivo Pad will be the second generation of tablet-size book-style foldable phones from the company.
However, the X Flip will be the first flip foldable phone from the company. According to rumors so far, the X flip will have a big cover screen just like the one we saw in the OPPO Find N Flip.

Aside from the launch date of the devices, a few of the specs of the devices were also confirmed. We already know the key specifications of the vivo X Fold 2 from the poster image leak a few days back. It’ll be coming with an 8.03-inch AMOLED screen, feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
As for the vivo X Flip, it’ll feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and have a 6.8-inch main display with an AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It’ll come with a 50MP Sony IMX866 main sensor, a 4,400mAh battery, and support for a 44W wired fast charging.

The vivo Pad is expected to have a 12-inch IPS LCD display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate with 1800x2880px resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. It’s said to have a metal body and will feature the Dimensity 9000+ chipset from MediaTek. It might be a WiFi-only device that will support a stylus.
