Display and Durability

The display sizes of these two smartphones are alike. Both devices have a dot in the display that houses the selfie camera. Also, they both have QHD+ super AMOLED displays that are slightly curved to the side. And even though both devices support a 120Hz refresh rate, the vivo X80 Pro screen is brighter.

In terms of durability, the screen on both smartphones is protected by a corning Gorilla Glass. However, only the vivo X80 Pro is water and dust resistant. The OnePlus 10 Pro does have water resistance too but it’s limited to the T-mobile variant.

Camera

OnePlus 10 Pro features a 48MP OIS main cam, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP OIS tele 3x optical zoom. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera. While vivo X80 Pro has a quad-camera setup: 50MP OIS main cam, 48MP ultrawide, a 12MP portrait lens and 8MP  tele 5x optical periscope lens. The selfie camera is 32MP.

Overall, both smartphones have good cameras. But the vivo X80 Pro is top-flight. A special shout out to the vivo X80 Pro especially in a very low light condition it comes out very bright. The presence of OIS on both devices means you can have a good photography experience. It will also interest you to know that the rear cameras on both devices, can record video in 8k/4k resolution.

vivo X80 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro

You can’t go wrong with any of these two. They are among the best smartphones of 2022 you can buy. Durability is there, cameras are excellent, great displays/speakers, performance at peak level etc. However, the vivo X80 Pro has a more reliable camera. Every turn of it has a slight edge over the OnePlus 10 Pro.
