The Xiaomi 12S Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This 5G chipset is built on TSMC 4nm process node. It features an Octa-core CPU with a speed clocked at 3.19GHz paired with the Adreno 730 GPU. This chipset has a peak download speed above 10Gbps and a peak upload speed above 5Gbps.

Display, Design, and Build
The display size of the Xiaomi 12S Pro is 6.73-inch and it has an LTPO AMOLED panel, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. On the front, the screen is slightly curved on both sides and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display resolution is 1440 x 3200 pixels, has 521 PPI density, and has a peak 1500nit peak brightness.
The build materials for this phone are a Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), a glass back, and an aluminum frame. The rear has a simple camera module that houses the triple rear camera sensors. On the front, it has a punch hole on the top of the screen. Just like the front screen, the back panel is also slightly curved.

Xiaomi 12S Pro has three RAM and storage configurations. It has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. This device has no space for storage expansion via a microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack.
