Xiaomi recently announced the Xiaomi 12X and its base model of the Xiaomi 12 series. The starting price of the Xiaomi 12X is $599 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage. Both the 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage cost $669 and $729 respectively.

Unlike the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro that features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, this device features the Snapdragon 870 5G chip. Its not as powerful as the chip inside the Pro model but this chip is better than chip inside most phones out there.

Xiaomi 12X Language Support, Network bands and Specs

Xiaomi 12X has support for multiple languages and its network band is compatible with Asia, Europe and Australia bands. This means that even though the device is yet to e available globally, you can still buy and use the Xiaomi 12X outside China (it will work outside China).

Aside from network bands, Xiaomi 12X has support for two languages. It currently has support for 2 official languages: English, Chinese (its yet to be launched globally). And you also get access to Google Mobile Services and Google Play store. You can download OTA updates when its available.

Unlike the pro version, the Xiaomi 12X is a premium mid-range device that features good display quality and impressive camera set up. And even gamers would like this device as the CPU and GPU cores inside are decent.

Xiaomi 12X features the Snapdragon 870 5G chip inside and comes with a 6.28-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with DisplayMate A+ certification. The display has support for 120Hz refresh rate and you get up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (the base variant has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage).

At the rear, it comes with a 50MP quad rear cameras and a 20MP front facing camera. Features such as dual PDAF, OIS, gyro-EIS, Dual LED, and HDR10+ is available. The camera gives you options and lots of features to play with.

Inside is a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. You can charge the device from 0 to 100% in about 20 mins. It runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box and you can expect at least three years of software updates.

Availability and Where to Buy Xiaomi 12X

Xiaomi 12X was released on December 2021 and it’s only currently available in China. This device is in pre-order on Giztop and will start shipping out by January 2022.
