Display, Build, and Design
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 comes with a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display while the Tecno Spark 9 Pro comes with a slightly bigger 6.6-inches IPS LCD display. The display of the Redmi 10 features a 90Hz smooth refresh rate while the Spark 9 Pro features a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The display resolution of both phones is FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels). These two phones also have the same peak brightness and the front screen is flat.
The front design of the Redmi 10 comes with a punch-hole while the Spark 9 Pro has a water-drop front design. The build materials of the Redmi 10 and Spark 9 Pro are the Glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. None of these phones is water and dustproof.

The camera setup of the Redmi 10 is 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro, 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. While the camera setup of the Spark 9 Pro is a 50MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor, a QVGA lens, and a 32MP selfie camera.
The quality of photos from the rear cameras of both phones is very similar. You get the same color quality and even under-low light you get the same quality. However, the 32MP front camera of the Spark 9 Pro shoots better photos than the 8MP front camera of the Redmi 10. So, the Spark 9 Pro is the better phone for selfies.
As per videography, both smartphones can shoot videos in 2K resolutions. The video quality from both phones using the rear camera is very similar but the front camera of the Spark 9 Pro shoots more colorful videos. None of these phones have stabilization features, so you must hold your hands steady to get quality shots.
Overall, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro is a better camera phone. This is because it has a better selfie camera and gives you the same photo quality on the rear as the Redmi 10. There is an ultra-wide lens on the Redmi 10 but the quality is not that great.

The performances of both smartphones are pretty similar. This is because the chipsets in these phones have the same CPU cores and use the same ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
The performance you get on the Redmi 10 is very similar to the performance you get on the Spark 9 Pro. Both smartphones can play games but in high settings. If you want to play games such as PUBG or Call of Duty, it’ll be better if you set the settings of both phones to Medium or Low.

The Tecno Spark 9 Pro boots HIOS 8.6 based on Android 12 out of the box. Tecno has not made any promises but we expect the Spark 9 Pro to get one year of major software updates.

So, between the Xiaomi Redmi 10 and Tecno Spark 9 Pro which is better? The Redmi 10 is better than the Spark 9 Pro and here is why.
The Redmi 10 has a 90Hz refresh rate, a dedicated ultra-wide lens, a refreshed chipset, and a better software update policy. The only advantage the Spark 9 Pro has over the Redmi 10 is its 32MP selfie camera.
So, if you need those extra features that make a phone better, the Redmi 10 has those features. But, if you really love taking selfies then you will find the 32MP front camera of the Spark 9 Pro more useful.
So, if I’m to score both smartphones, I’ll score the Xiaomi Redmi 10 (52%) and the Tecno Spark 9 Pro (48%). The extra features that come with the Redmi 10 make it the better smartphone to buy.
