Samsung just released the One UI 3.1 version of the Samsung’s custom Android skin software for the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G. And it seems to be targeted at helping users enjoy multi tasking more efficiently.
Multi tasking just got a whole lot easier in the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G many thanks to the new One UI 3.1 software. With this new update, users can now quickly; (1) return to up to three previously opened Multi-Active Windows on the main screen via the Recents tab,(2) while also being able to bring two Multi-Active Windows from the main screen to the cover screen.

Also, by long pressing the relevant notification and dragging and dropping it into the screen, you can now open Multi-Window directly from the notifications in the Quick Panel. You can now also easily switch between different media controls in the Quick Panel with swipe gestures as the notifications there are now categorized.
You also no longer need the power button to turn off the screens. Users can now turn off the screens with double-tap or a simple palm touch. Samsung also syncs the weather widgets on the main cover screens to offer same information to users with the One UI 3.1.

Some few adjustments were also made to the cameras by Samsung. Not in terms of quality though but mostly related to controls. The camera app now allows you to control the positions of shooting in Flex Mode and Samsung added a Delete and Share buttons in the preview window.
Besides, when you are making video calls in Flex Mode, you can fill the top half of the screen with the video of the person on the other end.

Samsung has also updated the Light and Dark themes on the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G with One UI 3.1. They’ve redesigned the vertical volume slider to reduce the screen’s visual clutter.
