Display and Durability

When it comes to the display, the Infinix Note 12 VIP is better. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate support. While the OPPO Reno7 display is smaller. It brings a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate support. So the Infinix Note 12 VIP display is more responsive and for those that love media consumption, it is a nicer choice because of its size.

However, one thing to consider too is the durability. The OPPO Reno7 display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This means if both phones should fall from the same height, the OPPO Reno7 screen may survive a crack, unlike the Infinix Note 12 VIP which could easily get a damaged screen.

Camera

On the aspect of the camera for photo taking and video making, the OPPO Reno7 could not measure up to the Infinix Note 12 VIP. Even though both devices can take bright images in good lighting conditions, however, the 108MP on Infinix Note 12 VIP is crispier. Although when it comes to video recording, both devices can only shoot in 2k max resolution.

Performance | 5G | Configuration

The Infinix Note 12 VIP doesn’t support 5G neither does the OPPO Reno7. Both are 4G network devices. While the Infinix Note 12 VIP is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96, the Reno7 is powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset. So technically you have the same performance across both smartphones. The RAM and storage capacity is also the same (8GB RAM + 256GB storage).
