iQOO 10 Pro is a 2022 flagship smartphone from vivo/iQOO and is the successor to the iQOO 9 Pro. This phone is the first vivo phone to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and also the very first smartphone to feature a 200W fast charge. You can charge this phone from 0 to 100 in about 10 minutes.

Chipset, CPU, and GPU
The iQOO 10 Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This 5G chipset is built on TSMC’s 4nm process node. It also features an Octa-core CPU with a speed clocked at 3.19GHz and an enhanced Adreno 730 GPU. The peak download speed of this chipset is above 10Gbps and its peak upload speed is above 5Gbps.
It features fast UFS 3.1 (V6) storage and LPDDR5 RAM technology. When it comes to performance and power efficiency, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is one of the best in the market. With the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip onboard the iQOO 10 Pro, users can play games using the highest graphic settings without issues and lags.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip is also very power efficient. It’s a chipset that can also sustain optimum performance for a longer time compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It also has the latest wireless connectivity technologies and a very impressive ISP chip.

On paper, the camera setup and features of the iQOO 10 Pro are pretty impressive. It has a 50MP primary camera that has PDAF and gimbal OIS features. The primary camera is supported by a 14.6MP telephoto lens that has PDAF, OIS, and 3x optical zoom. Then there is a 50MP ultra-wide lens that has the AF feature.
On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera that can shoot steady videos in 1080p resolution. The back camera can shoot videos in 8K and 4K resolution. The photography and videography features available in the iQOO 10 Pro include PDAF, gimbal OIS, 3x optical zoom, AF, gyro-EIS, Dual-LED flash, HDR, etc.
Display, Design, and Build
The display size of the iQOO 10 Pro is 6.78-inch and it has an LTPO3 AMOLED panel, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. Its display brightness is up to 1500 nits and the front screen is slightly curved on both sides with a Panda Glass protecting the display.
The front design is a simple punch-hole that houses the selfie camera while on the rear, it has a camera module on the top left corner that houses the triple camera sensors. iQOO 10 Pro is made of Glass front (Panda Glass), aluminum frame, and glass back or aramid fiber back. For durability, the phone is splash and dustproof.
The iQOO 10 Pro looks and feels premium. The volume button and power button are located on the right side of the frame while the USB Typ-C port, speaker, and microphone are located on the bottom frame. It has no space for a 3.5mm headphone jack.

RAM, Storage, and Battery
The iQOO 10 Pro has three RAM and storage configurations. It has 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. This device has no space for storage expansion via a microSD card slot, so you can’t expand storage.
iQOO 10 Pro is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with support for a 200W wired fast charge and a 50W wireless charge. You can charge this phone from 0 to 100% in about 10 minutes. Other charging features are 10W Reverse wireless charge and Power Delivery 3.0.

Software and Sensors
The China model of the iQOO 10 Pro boots Origin OS Ocean based on Android 12 while the global model of the iQOO 10 Pro boots Funtouch 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. This phone will get at least three years of major software updates and four years of monthly security patches. You can download and install apps from the Google Play Store on this phone and even download major updates over OTA.

iQOO 10 Pro Release Date
The iQOO 10 Pro was released on July 19, 2022. This phone will be available for pre-order and sale in China first by July 26, 2022. vivo/iQOO is expected to bring the phone to the global market later.
