Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G vs Tecno Camon 19 Pro: This year so far, Transsion devices have really up their game. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G for example is the first phone in the world to use the MediaTek helio G99 chipset. While Tecno has also upgraded its camera algorithm. The Camon 19 series are the first smartphone in the world with a 64MP RGBW sensor. Such a good year for Transsion products.

However, in this post, we’ll be comparing the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G vs Tecno Camon 19 Pro. Which is better? Which one gives better value for money? Make sure to read to the very end of this post to know our verdict.

Display

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro has a smoother display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate unlike the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G with 60Hz. Moreover, the Camon 19 Pro display is slightly bigger too with a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD touchscreen. You’ll also like the design of the Camon 19 Pro. It has very thin bezels.

However, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G has something that the Tecno Camon 19 Pro lacks. I mean when it comes to streaming of videos or outdoor usage of the smartphone under direct sunlight, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display is better. With the AMOLED display on the Note 12 Pro 4G, you can experience better color and is much brighter.

So which smartphone has the better display out of these two? Well, it’s based on user preference. Both have their compromises with the Tecno Camon 19 Pro, you will have a swift UI experience because of the 120Hz but the screen is not as bright when you are outdoor. But with Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G, a colorful and brighter display for media consumption and outdoor usage is guaranteed while the screen is not as fast as the Camon 19 Pro.

Camera

When it comes to the camera, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is one of the best mid-range phones to get. Tecno for the first time introduced an RGBW sensor in the Camon 19 series. The 64MP OIS RGBW sensor with Laser AF is the first of its kind which significantly improved the photography and videography experience of using the Camon 19 Pro. The 64MP main camera is paired with a 50MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro.

So how does the camera of the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G compare? It is fairly good but not as good as the Camon 19 Pro. I mean don’t get me wrong. In good lighting conditions, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G with 108MP can take a very crisp picture. But there’s no OIS and Laser AF. Overall, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro gives a better experience.

Even the front camera on the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is better. It has a 32MP selfie which is crisper than the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G with 16MP tucked into the dot in the display. The major caveat of both smartphones is that none can record video in 4K resolution.

Performance | 5G | Configuration

Powering the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G is the MediaTek helio G99 chipset. It is a 6nm processor with optimized battery management. While the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is fuelled by a MediaTek helio G96 Chip. The performance that both chips offer is similar and nothing more or less.

The chipsets on both smartphones are paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, the internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack available and a side-mounted Fingerprint scanner for biometric verification.
