Display

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G has a slightly bigger screen of 6.78-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate support.  The Camon 19 Pro 5G display is smoother but doesn’t give the best color and brightness. While the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen but has no higher refresh rate. With the AMOLED display on the Note 12 Pro 5G, you can experience better color, and is much brighter.

Tecno for the first time introduced an RGBW sensor in the Camon 19 series. The 64MP OIS RGBW sensor is the first of its kind which significantly improved the photography and videography experience of using the Camon 19 Pro 5G. The 64MP main camera is paired with a 2MP Bokeh lens and a 2MP macro.

But on the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G, you have a 108MP main camera paired with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. In good lighting conditions, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G can take a very crisp picture. However, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G lacks optical image stabilization. Overall, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G gives a better experience. 

The front camera on these two smartphones was tucked into the dot in the display. We are talking of a 16MP selfie camera that is capped at 1080p resolution.

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset is what powers the performance of both smartphones. However, the storage capacity of both phones is different. And it favors the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G. Software-wise, the skin software on both devices looks identical. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G boots HiOS 8.6 out of the box on top of Android 12. While the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G runs XOS 10.6 skin based on Android 12 out of the box. For now, Tecno has confirmed the Camon 19 Pro 5G will upgrade to Android 13 in due time.
