The Motorola Edge 2022 features the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 5G chipset. This is a 5G chipset that is built on TSMC’s 6nm process technology. This chipset features two Cortex-A78 power cores with a speed clocked at 2.5GHz. It also features six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores with a speed clocked at 2.0GHz. This octa-core CPU is paired with the Arm Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.

The average peak download and upload speed of the chipset is 4.5Gbps and 2Gbps respectively. This chipset has support for SA/NSA/Sub6/mmWave 5G bands and it’s also an efficient chipset. It can play graphics-intensive games and does not get HOT under heavy use.

Motorola Edge 2022 features a triple rear camera and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with multi-directional PDAF and OIS features. This primary camera is supported by a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The 50MP primary camera can record steady videos in 4K resolution while the 32MP front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution. The Motorola Edge 2022 has a Dual Capture mode feature that allows you to use the front and back cameras to record videos simultaneously. It also has support for HDR10+ and it has a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The front screen is flat while the rear panel is slightly curved.
