Starting from the display, the Moto G23 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole design. The display is flat, supports a 90Hz refresh rate, is an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, and has 400 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Panda Glass and it has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack port.

For performance, the Motorola Moto G23 features the MediaTek Helio G85 4G chipset. This chipset has an octa-core processor and the ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also has dedicated space for storage expansion via a microSDXC slot.

It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower wired charging (no wireless charging available). The battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in about 60 minutes.
