OnePlus 11 is a 2023 flagship phone from the Chinese phone brand OnePlus that will be released in December 2022. This phone is the successor or the upgrade to the OnePlus 10 that was released by the company last year. It has a new chipset, more RAM, and other features that users would like. Just like other 2023 flagship phones, the OnePlus 11 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This 5G chipset is built on a 4nm process technology and it features an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 740 GPU. The CPU has one Cortex-X3 performance core, two Cortex-A715 prime cores, two Cortex-A710 prime cores, and three Cortex-A510 efficiency cores.

The chipset in this phone is powerful and features a fast 5G MODEM, fast Wi-Fi, and a powerful ISP and AI engine. The OnePlus 11 has the following components:

Cameras

OnePlus 11 has a triple rear camera system and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP main camera that has Dual Pixel PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS features. The main camera is supported by a 2x optical zoom 32MP telephoto lens that has PDAF and OIS features, a 48MP ultra-wide lens that has AutoFocus, and a 16MP front camera.

The 50MP main camera can record steady videos in 8K resolution while the 16MP front camera can record videos in 1080p resolution. Other camera features are Hasselblad Color Calibration, Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama, Auto HDR, gyro-EIS, etc.

Display, Design, and Durability

OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 1440 x 3216 pixels display resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate, LTPO auto refresh rate, and HDR10+. The front screen is slightly curved and it has a centered punch hole on the top of the screen that houses the front camera.

The phone is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and aluminum frame. It is certified to be IP68 dust/water resistant and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The rear design of the phone looks cool with the circular camera module on the top left corner and the ONEPLUS logo printed on the center of the rear panel.

The phone has a Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and two speakers (one at the bottom the other at the top). The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the frame with the customize alert sider button on the left side of the frame. The USB Type-C port and microphone are at the bottom frame of the phone. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack port and no microSD card slot.

RAM, Storage, and Battery

OnePlus 11 comes in four RAM and storage options. It has 8GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, 16GB RAM + 256GB, and 16GB RAM + 512GB model. There is no microSD card slot hence users can expand storage once they exhaust the internal storage.

The battery inside the phone is a 5,000mAh battery and it supports 100W or 65W wired fast charging depending on your location. People living in China and Europe will get the 100W versions while those living in the US and Canada will get the 65W version. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
