Display
When it comes to the display, the Realme 10 retain every spec of its predecessor. They have a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate support. Both smartphones are also using gorilla glass 5 protection for the screen.
For security, the Realme 10 vs Realme 9 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric verification. However, even though both smartphones have similar sizes, the Realme 10 weight is lighter than that of the Realme 9.

Camera
When it comes to the camera, unfortunately for the Realme 10, the Realme 9 has superior camera systems. The Realme 9 comes with a 108MP higher resolution camera, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth field. While the latest Realme 10 is behind with a 50MP main camera without an ultrawide lens but retains the 2MP secondary sensor.
Though the front camera remains the same across both smartphones. They feature 16-megapixel selfies. In terms of video quality, both are capped at 1080p max resolution. Overall, the Realme 9 takes the crown for the camera.
Realme 10 vs Realme 9: Performance | Software
Realme 9 came powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. While Realme 10 uses a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset for the 4G version and Dimensity 700 for the 5G version. Overall, the performance is similar across the board. The Realme 9 and Realme 10 5G are available in 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. While the Realme 10 4G has 4-8GB RAM and 64-256GB storage options.
Software-wise, they all boot Realme UI 3 based on Android 12 software out of the box. Realme is expected to give at least a year or even 2 years of OS upgrades.
