Redmi is working on the successor of the Redmi K40 series releases earlier this year and it’ll be called the Redmi K50. We expect this device to debut in early 2022 but we’ve also got what can be assumed as leaked specs of the device.
Reliable tipster DCS has shared some leaks on its Weibo account. And these leaks might just be those of the Redmi K50 series smartphones.

According to leaks, the Redmi K50 will come with a high-quality display curved on both sides. It’ll also feature a Snapdragon 888 or 898 flagship chip, and a large battery with support for 67W fast charging tech.
The device will also feature a 108MP main camera. Other features included in the device are; x-axis motor and JBL dual stereo speakers. We think the leak is for the Redmi K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ smartphones.

Remember that the previously released Redmi K40 series included three smartphones; K40, K40 Pro, and K40 Pro+. Early rumors suggest that the incoming Redmi K50 will follow same steps as its predecessor.
If recent leaks happens to be true, the Redmi K50 series will spot an AMOLED display panel with high refresh rate. As per the chip, the regular K50 might feature the Snapdragon 870 or 888 while the K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ might feature the all new Snapdragon 898 chip.

But again, these are all rumors from a leak online and nothing is confirmed from the company. However, there is no fire without a smoke which means these leaks might not be entirely inaccurate.
