Redmi Note 9S Launches April 7 and Coming To Nigeria

Redmi Note 9S Launches: It has been confirmed that the global version of the Redmi Note 9 series, the Redmi Note 9S will officially launch April 7. And shipment is expected to start to various places around the world.

The Redmi Note 9S is the global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. This means they will spot a similar specifications and almost sold at same price.

This new Redmi phone is currently up for pre-order on Gearbest at $210 (N77,000 Naira) for the 4/64GB variant, while the 6/128GB variant will cost $250 (N91,800 Naira).

You can pre-order the phone with a $10 (N3,670 Naira) deposit, shipments are scheduled to start between March 31 and April 2 and the online retailer is ready to send the phone worldwide (or it could start shipping in 16 days, there’s currently conflicting information).

Gearbest is offering a “deposit expansion” bonus, meaning that $10 deposit will net you $40 (N14,700 Naira) in savings (meaning the final price will be $170 (N62,400 Naira) or $210 (N77,000 Naira), for the respective variants above.

As seen over at Gearbest, the phone comes in three colors; Blue, Black and White.

AliExpress is the official Xiaomi partner that will be selling the phone worldwide but the phone will also be available in stores close to you. It is expected to sell between $250-$280 for the 4/64GB and 6/128GB versions, respectively, starting on April 7.

But, there might be a two-day flash sale (for the Mi Fan Festival) that will see the prices drop to $200 and $240 on April 7 and 8 only. Also, there will be 2,020 units of the MFF 2020 Limited Edition (with the MFF logo on the back).

In Nigeria, you can buy the phone in local stores like Pointek, Slot, 3C Hub, GSM Store NG, Jumia, Konga and Jiji when it is finally launched.

According to GSM Arena, In Thailand, the Redmi Note 9S can be bought through Lazada, Shoppee and JD for THB 6,500-7,500. It will also be available via online purchase in Singapore for SGD 300-350.
