The rumor flying around that we might not see the Galaxy A74 phone released by Samsung next year, but the existence of the Galaxy A54 5G has once again been confirmed. The device has been spotted on Geekbench but today it appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website revealing some details and confirming its existence.
According to the details that appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification site, the Galaxy A54 5G has the model number SM-A546V. The listing confirmed the name of the phone and also revealed that the phone will support Bluetooth v5.3.
If Samsung did not make a Galaxy Z74 phone next year, it means the Galaxy A54 will be the more premium phone in the Galaxy A series next year. As previously seen on Geekbench, the phone will be powered by a chipset that has an octa-core processor, codenamed “S5E8835”.

This chipset is said to be the Samsung Exynos 1380 5G chipset and it will have four CPU cores clocked 2.40GHz and the remaining at 2.0GHz. The chipset will be paired with the Mali G68 GPU and the model of the phone spotted on Geekbench had 6GB of RAM.
Previous reports reveal the device will have a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main shooter which is a shift from the 64MP main shooter used in the Galaxy A53 and A52. Other features of the phone will include a 5100mAh battery and support 25W charging, a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it will boot Android 13 OS with One UI 5.0 on top.
The price of the Galaxy A54 will be a key reason to buy or ditch the phone. Right now, there are lots of Chinese phones with better chipsets, faster charging, and good cameras that are very affordable. We expect to see more details about this phone in the coming weeks.
