For those with a slim budget, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the best choice. In some stores like Amazon, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could be found for as low as €369 for the 8/256 GB model. In contrast, the new Galaxy A55 is more expensive with a starting price of €480 for the 8/128 GB model.

2. Display, Design and Durability

The designs are different but the build material is the same. Both phones bring a dot-in display that is protected by a Corning gorilla glass Victus. The rear cameras are aligned vertically. More so, both smartphones are rated IP67/IP68 water and dust resistant. You can see vividly the difference in the design below.

The Galaxy A55 comes with a 32MP f/2.2 front-facing unit, a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro unit.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with a 16MP f/2.4 front-facing unit, a 200MP f/1.7 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro unit.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has a 5,000 mAh battery capacity with a 120W fast charging system. The Samsung Galaxy A55 brings a similar battery capacity but with a slower charging speed of 25W.
