Tecno Camon 15: The camon 15 is going to be next smartphone to be released by Tecno Mobile in the Camon series. After the release of the Tecno Camon 12 series, Tecno have decided to skip numbers (13 & 14) and continue the suppose sequence from Camon 15. Please don’t ask why, we don’t have the answer to that right now.
However, the soon to be launched Tecno camon 15 comes with some exciting features. It cameras comes with lots of AI features and it is also expected to shoot nice photos at night. Rumor also has it that its battery feature is coming with Safe charge (We hope to get more information about the Safe charge when the phone is launched).
But, we know that there is more to smartphones than just pop up selfie cameras. So what other new stuff is this new Tecno phone coming with? lets get to see the paper specifications of the Camon 15.

Specifications of Tecno Camon 15
Build and Display
The phone comes with front glass, plastic back and plastic frame. Its screen size will be 6.6 inches with a punch hole display that houses the selfie camera. But, there is no display protection, its not water resistant, scratch or dust resistant.
What this means is that, if you want the phone to last longer you’ll need to provide some screen guard to help protect the screen and display. Also, using a phone jacket or case is highly recommended given it has a plastic back and frame. A phone jacket will help protect the plastic from breaking easily.

Chipset, RAM and Internal Storage
The phone uses the MediaTek Helio P22 which is an upgrade of the chipset used in the Tecno Camon 12 pro. It also uses the Octa-core (1×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU for image and games processing. This feature is subject to change and we’ll update this post accordingly.
So far, the phone comes in a single variant of, 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage. There is space for external storage via microSD card which means you can store more files.

Camera
Tecno Camon series have always been the category of smartphone from Tecno Mobile the focus more on Camera. And just like its predecessors, the Camon 15 also comes with some good camera features to look out for.
Just like the Camon 15 Pro, at the back the Camon 15 comes with a 48 megapixel main shooter, 5 megapixel ultrawide, 2 megapixel depth sensor and a 3D TOF Camera. 3D TOF camera won’t really be doing any major job.
Upfront, the comes with a 16 megapixel placed in a punch hole at the top side of the screen. This and the night mode of the phone is one of the camera features to look out for when it is finally launched. @Maii_HD pointed out how sharp the photos in snapped in mode is expected to look like on YouTube. Software and Battery
The phone run out of the box Android 10 pie along with Tecno latest software the HIOS 6 which is really good. Camon 15 is powered by a non removable 5000mAh battery no fast charge and wireless charge feature enabled. Charging the phone should not be much of a problem.
