Display, Design, and Build
The display size of the vivo X Note is 7-inches making it the biggest regular Android phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It has an AMOLED panel, has 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, peak brightness of 1500 nits, and a display resolution of 1440 x 3080 pixels. The display is very colorful and can auto-refresh between 0 and 120Hz.
The design of the vivo X Note is a punch-hole on the center top screen. The screen is slightly curved on both sides and it has slim bezels. The rear camera module spreads horizontally across the top back panel. There is also a circular design inside the camera module that houses four camera sensors.
The build of the vivo X Note is a Glass front, eco leatherback, and an aluminum frame. The back of the phone is leather and feels very comfortable to hold. vivo X Note is certified to be IP68 water and dust-proof and the front display is protected by Gorilla Glass.
Looking at the phone on the front or rear, the vivo X Note is a gigantic beautiful smartphone. Its build materials are also very durable and it can survive underwater thanks to the IP68 water and dust protection.

Camera
On the rear, the vivo X Note comes with four cameras. It has a 50MP primary camera that has PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS features. The primary camera is supported by an 8MP periscope lens that has PDAF, OIS, and 5x optical zoom features. Then there is a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 48MP ultra-wide lens completing the four rear cameras. Upfront, it has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
All the cameras inside the vivo X Note are not only good but also very useful. The 50MP main camera has incredible stability and can shoot videos in 8k resolution. You also get to use an 8MP periscope lens that is capable of 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. If you need to take pictures of objects from a distance or photos of micro-objects, there is a camera lens on this phone for you.
In addition to night mode, other camera features inside this phone include Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, Dual-LED flash, panorama, OIS, optical zoom, digital zoom, and gyro-EIS.

Chipset, CPU, and GPU
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip inside the vivo X Note makes it one of the best performing smartphones you can get in 2022. This chipset features an octa-core CPU that has a 1x Cortex-X2 core with a speed clocked at 3.00GHz. The CPU also has 4 efficiency cores to help cool down the temperature of the chipset when under heavy use.
The GPU inside the chipset is the Adreno 730. This GPU is very powerful and paired with the octa-core CPU, playing graphics-intensive games becomes very smooth without any lags. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset also features a very powerful ISP that process image on a whole new level.
Playing games with the vivo X Note does not lag and it can maintain high FPS. It also does not get heated up quickly but it does get warm after some time. Overall, the performance of the vivo X Note when playing games is pretty consistent.

RAM and Storage
The vivo X Note comes in three storage configurations. It comes with 8 + 256GB, 12 + 256GB, and 12 + 512GB of storage. There is no room for storage expansion via a microSD card. Aside from not having room for a microSD card, the phone does not also have the 3.5mm jack port.
Battery
vivo X Note is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for an 80W fast charge. You can charge this device from 0 to 100% in about 32 minutes. Other charging features are Fast wireless charging 50W (100% in 50 min) and 10W Reverse wireless charging.
Depending on usage, the battery of the vivo X Note can easily carry you for a day. And the fact that the screen can auto-refresh between 0 and 120Hz saves the battery in many ways.

Software
The vivo X Note boots Origin OS Ocean based on Android 12 out of the box. vivo is promising three years of major software updates and four years of monthly security patches for this phone. This phone also has support for Google Mobile Services and you can download software updates, apps, and games from the Google Play Store.
Other sensor features are Fingerprint (under display, ultrasonic), Google Assistant, GPS, proximity sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi Direct, Infrared, etc. The available colors of the vivo X Note are Black, Grey, and Blue.

The review of the vivo X Note shows that it’s one of the best smartphones you can buy in 2022. It has a massive display for good media consumption, it has good cameras, a colorful display, a big 5,000mAh battery, high performing chipset, a beautiful design, strong build materials, and very durable.
