How Apple Connected Cards Work?
The Apple Connected Cards is a new iPhone Wallet app powered by the U.K.’s Open Banking API. The service practically brings regular bank accounts into the Apple Wallet via the country’s Open Banking API.
This feature has been under testing for the past few weeks and now a stable version has been rolled out with the latest iOS 17 software. On your wallet app, you can now see account balances (including credit cards) from supported banks like Barclays, Lloyds, and HSBC. Hopefully, other regions will support this feature soon.
