The Apple M3 chipset in the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro comes has an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM or Unified Storage and up to 2TB of internal storage.
The chipset is built on the TSMC 3nm process which is the same technology used in the Apple A17 Pro chipset in the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. The CPU, GPU, and RAM technology in the M3 chip is faster than those in the Apple M2 chipset.
RAM and Storage
The 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro with M3 chip is available in various RAM and storage options. The laptop comes with just 8GB of RAM but the RAM can be paired with either 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB of internal storage.
This means available storage options are 8GB RAM + 512GB storage, 8GB RAM + 1TB storage, or 8GB + 2TB storage. It also supports external storage via an SDXC card slot. There is no 256GB storage model available for the 14-inch MacBook Pro laptop with the M3 chip.

The 2023 MacBook with M3 chipset comes with a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display. The display is a mini-LED backlit display that supports 120Hz auto-refresh rate.
It has a display resolution of 3024 by 1964 pixels and has a screen brightness of 1000 nits sustained full-screen. But the brightness of the screen can go as high as 1600 nits peak (HDR content only).
