Google is among the few companies that put in the best when it comes to their mobile devices. And since the news about Google launching a Foldable smartphone this year surfaced, there have been lost of expectations.
There have been news and rumors about the search engine lord launching its foldable smartphone along with the likes of OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi. But now, a new information just confirmed that Google could actually release a foldable phone by the end of this year and it’ll have similar design as the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Google Pixel Fold Could Launch Soon
The reputable leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has come online to tweet about Google’s plan to launch its foldable smartphone before the end of this year. It also seem that during the launch of the Pixel 6 Series in October, the company might show us a teaser of the foldable device.
According to the report which correspond with previous reports, the device is codenamed “Passport”. And Evan also said that it appears Google has been working on its foldable smartphone for about two years.

The tipsters also noted that “it’ll be worth a look.” Although there is very little official information about the device, rumored has it that it’ll feature an LTPO OLED panel that is manufactured by Samsung Display Company.
More details about the Pixel Fold
As per the Google Pixel Fold inside glass, it is expected to be the Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) from Samsung. Designs we’ve seen so far of the Pixel fold suggests that it’ll have similar looks as the Galaxy Z Fold smartphones.
But it has the design has this Pixel tone that makes it looks kind of different from the Galaxy Z Fold phones. Other rumors about the Pixel fold suggests that it’ll come with a 7.6-inches display when it’s unfolded.

We still can’t confirm when exactly the Pixel fold will be launched. But, all the information so far points to the fourth quarter of this year (October to December). For sure, this device won’t debut alongside the Pixel 6 series as it might outshine the Pixel 6.
So, we’re expecting the Pixel fold to be launch maybe a month after the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro have been in the market. More updates on this will surface in coming days, so stay tuned.
