Honor 50 SE Price: The price of the Honor 50 SE is 2,399 CNY, $373 for the 6GB + 128GB of storage model. And the price for the 8GB + 256GB storage model is 2,699 CNY, $420. The prices above makes it the most affordable of all Honor 50 series.
Just like the Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50, this device is 5G enabled. But, it uses a different chipset and it has bigger display with very limited display features.

The Honor 50 SE is a more budget friendly smartphone in the Honor 50 series from Honor Mobile. It is the third device in the series and its also the most affordable. But, been more affordable comes at a price which is why the device is not as premium as the other two.

Chipset, CPU and GPU
The chipset that is under hood of the Honor 50 SE is the MediaTek Dimensity 900. Leaked AnTuTu result shows that the Dimensity 900 is better than the Snapdragon 768G. But not as good as the Snapdragon 778G chipset used in the top two models of the Honor 50.
Under heavy usage, the chipset used in this device keeps its cool. Although the chipset does not get heated up easily, but it might get warm when performing multiple tasks.

Cameras
Honor 50 SE come with a triple rear camera set up. A 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. Upfront it has a 16MP single selfie camera.
The camera can shoot shoot 4K videos, has OIS, slow-Mo videos, gyro-EIS, AI photo, portrait mode etc. Using the ISP inside the chipset, you can do lots of cool stuffs with the cameras.

The Honor 50 SE comes with 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. Its display size is bigger than those of the Honor 50 and 50 Pro.
There is no known official IP rating for this device but it should be splash and scratch resistant. You can expect the display to be Gorillas Glass 5 or 6.
For the display, there is no doubt you’ll enjoy the 120Hz refresh rate. But it’s sad that it won’t be coming with higher touch sampling like the other two top models of the Honor 50.

RAM, Storage and Battery
Honor 50 SE come in two models – 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Both the RAM and storage space is big enough to accommodate all your important files.
The battery capacity is non-removable 4000mAh with 66W fast charge – 0 to 100% in 45 minutes. 66W fast charge is not the fastest but considering the battery capacity, the 66W fast charge is good.

Software and Connectivity
Honor 50 SE runs Android 11 out of box along with the Magic UI 4.2 software. The company will also be rolling out major software updates for the device. This means this device won’t feel old for a while.
For connectivity, you get the following; 5G NR, NFC, Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type C.
