The Motorola Moto X30 Pro is the first smartphone to feature a 200MP camera sensor. Motorola launched the Moto X30 Pro in China a few weeks back and now the company is set to launch the phone in the global market. But, the company will also be launching other Motorola phones along with the Moto X30 Pro.
In the global market, the Moto X30 Pro will be known as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. However, the specifications will remain the same and might be slightly more expensive because of VAT and other related taxes.
Motorola launched the Moto Razr 2022, Moto X30 Pro, and Moto S30 Pro in China in August. Now that the company is bringing these phones to the global market, it is changing the name of these phones with the exception of the Razr 2022. The Moto X30 Pro Will be known as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra while the Moto S30 Pro will be known as the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.
According to a new report, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion will be launched in India on September 8th, 2022. This means the US and European launches might be close by. There is no news as to if the company will launch the Motorola Razr 2022 on the same day as Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion.
If the Moto Razr 2022 makes it out of China, it’ll make the clamshell foldable market very competitive for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. But, there is no confirmation if Motorola plans to launch its 2022 foldable phone outside at this time.
For those who don’t know, the Motorola Razr 2022 and Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Both smartphones also have OLED displays and make use of a 144Hz refresh rate panel. The stand-out feature of the Edge 30 Ultra is the 200MP primary camera.
In the US, Motorola is set to launch the Motorola Edge 2022. this device has the same chipset, display features, and camera setup as the Moto S30 Pro launched in China.
The price of the Motorola Moto Razr 2022 starts at about $1,099 in China. While the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and Motorola Edge 30 Fusion are sold for $649 and $389 respectively in China. of course, these prices may differ when the phone hits India, the US, the UK, and other parts of Europe.
