The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ is a flagship tab released by Samsung in 2022. It’s the second biggest tablet released in the Tan S8 series. It packs an impressive 10,090mAh battery and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm.

Chipset, CPU and GPU
The chipset inside the Galaxy Tab S8+ is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G SoC. It comes with an octa-core CPU with a speed clocked at 3.00 GHz. It also features the all-new and improved Adreno 730 GPU.
The chipset inside this device is 30x better and 20x more power-efficient compared to the chip used in the previous Galaxy Tab S7. This chip has a download speed of 10Gbps and it comes with new NPU, ISP, and AI chipsets.

Cameras
At the rear, the Galaxy Tab S8+ comes with dual cameras: a 13MP main camera and a 6MP ultra-wide lens. Upfront it also comes with a dual selfie camera: a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos in 4K resolution. Some of the camera features include LED flash, HDR, panorama, and AF.

Display, Design, and Build
The display of the Galaxy tab S8+ is 12.4-inches. It uses an AMOLED panel, has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The display resolution is 1752 x 2800 pixels and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display also has support for S PEN. It uses Stylus with Stylus, 6.2ms latency (Bluetooth integration, accelerometer, gyro).
The screen is flat with big bezels around the display. At the rear, you’ll see the camera module for the dual rear camera. And also the magnetic holder that holds the S PEN is also at the rear. Both the volume rocker and the power button is located on the right side of the device.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ comes with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The RAM technology is LPDDR5 while the storage technology is UFS 3.1 (both latest RAM and storage tech). It has space for storage expansion via a microSD card (up to 1TB of additional storage).
The tablet is powered by a 10,090mAh battery with support for 45W charge technology. There is no 3.5mm jack port and there is no wireless charge tech.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ boots OneUI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. This device will be getting four years of major software updates and five years of security patches. Games and Apps can be downloaded from Google Play Store and you have access to use all Google Mobile Services.
The device has the following sensors: Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It also has support for Wireless Samsung DeX which makes it possible for the device to wirelessly connect to other devices (even PCs running Windows 11).
