Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab: After the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip of last year, Samsung has hinted on releasing a device with two hinges. This new tri-fold device is expected to be a tablet and will likely be named under the Tab series of the company.
Rumor has been flying around the internet regarding this device but for the first time we might actually have gotten a confirmation from Samsung itself.

Reason because a new trademark from Samsung Electronics shows that they intend to have tablets in the Z Fold line-up.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab
Samsung Electronics files a trademark with the EUIP (European Union Intellectual Property Office) on April 23, 2021. From the application which is categorized as class 9 has a short but very clear description: “smartphones, tablets computers’.
Last year, the company registered an application for Galaxy Z with the name Z Flip and these was submitted with the description “smartphones”.
It appears this is the first time Tablet computers is been included in the description of the application which leaves us with little to guess.

The design of the Galaxy Tab will be different from the regular Z Fold and Z Flip. From our previous reports, a render shows that the device has three displays with one folding outside.
Some days back, GizmoChina and a twitter user Yogesh also published some info regarding the Galaxy Tab. Both info claimed that Samsung intends to release a foldable tablet but they don’t know when.
And from the trademark application, the news is just confirmed. It’s obvious that the Korean manufacturer is very much interested in production of a foldable tablet.
Possible Specs of the Galaxy Z Tab
It’s likely to be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Tab. This is because, Samsung is using the Z to indicate its foldable line-ups. But that is not all. Since the device is expected to debut by Early 2022, it might make use of the latest Snapdragon SoC or Exynos chipset.

The display size might be anywhere from 12-inch to 14-inch when it’s fully unfolded. A triple rear camera system with 12MP next gen sensors and a single selfie camera likely placed on the outer display.
Its battery size will be around 5000mAh with fast charge feature. It might run out of the box Android 12 along with latest One UI skin software.

A Super Amoled display panel, 120Hz refresh rate, up 1300 nits of brightness and maybe it might be water resistant. You might also have a minimum of 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. We’re not expecting it to come with storage expansion via microSD card.
Again, all the specs above are speculations but the news of Samsung releasing a Galaxy Z tab is confirmed.
