Vivo has confirmed that the official released date of the Vivo X70 series is September 9th. This is less than two weeks as at time of writing this article. The Vivo X70 series will be the company’s latest flagship smartphone and will be the successor of the Vivo X60 series released last year.

The Vivo X70 series will first be released in China. This means that come September 9th, the device will only be available in China. We expect it to be available in Europe, the US and India in soon.

This new Vivo flagship phones is coming in three different models; the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+. With the Vivo X70 Pro+ been the most premium and Vivo X70 been the base variant.

Leaks and rumors that have surfaced on the internet has shown us some of the features of the X70 series. A teaser also released by Vivo itself also showed more details about the device.

For the cameras of the Vivo X70 series, the company has partnered with German optics company ZEISS. And so far, from leak and the promo video, the focus of this device seems to be camera.

The Vivo X70, is expected to be have a single punch-hole selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a ZEISS triple-lens camera setup lined up along the back right side.

It will have a USB Type-C charging port, SIM card trey with small bezels. Vivo X70 dimensions is said to be 158.5 x 73.4 x 8mm and its display is AMOLED panel and FHD+ resolution.

This device will launched with Android 11 out of the box, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, and at least one variant could come with a fancy-schmancy 12GB of RAM.

Vivo X70 Pro is the second best phone in this series. It will have a 6.5-inch curved-edge AMOLED display panel, FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with Android 11 and the most recent of Vivo’s custom skin, called Funtouch OS 11.

From leaks so far, the device will also feature a ZEISS quad-camera setup. The camera set up will include; an ultra-wide lens, telephoto zoom lens, and periscope zoom, alongside a laser autofocus system.

Its Processor will likely be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC coupled with 5G support, and 8 to 12GB options for RAM. Internal storage options can be as high as 256GB.

With its leather-texture design, the Vivo X70 Pro+ is the most premium device in the series. It is also the device that was teased by the company in its promo video.

This device will rock the Snapdragon 888 SoC, come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage option. It will also come with a FHD+ resolution, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz higher refresh rate.

It’ll also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 4,500mAh battery, and will likely run Android 11 out of the box. For now, there is limited information available about the device.

For now, the Vivo X70 series will debut in China come September 9th. Hopefully it’ll also make its way to Europe, the US, and India market.
