The Realme 10 Pro Plus is an affordable premium mid-range phone from Realme. It is the successor of the Realme 9 Pro Plus released earlier this year. Realme 10 Pro+ features the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset and a 108MP OIS main camera. To know more about the Realme 10 Pro+, allow me to break down the specifications of the device starting with the chipset, CPU, and GPU.

Chipset, CPU, and GPU

The Realme 10 Pro Plus features the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset. This 5G chipset is built on a 6nm process technology and features an Octa-core processor. The Dimensity 1080 5G chipset has an Octa-core CPU with a maximum speed clocked at 2.6GHz. It has two ARM Cortex-A78 power cores with a clock speed of 2.6GHz and ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency cores with a speed of 2.00GHz.

The CPU cores are paired with the ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The CPU cores of this chipset are fast and efficient and the GPU is powerful enough to get the job done. It can decode and encode videos in 4K resolution and it also features a new ISP that improves photo and video processing.

Other features of this chipset are that it has support for LPDDR5 RAM tech, UFS 3.1 storage, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, NFC, Radio, dual 5G with dual standby, fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, GPS, etc.

Cameras

Realme 10 Pro Plus features a triple rear camera and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 108MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS features. This primary camera is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front-facing wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The back camera of the Realme 10 Pro+ can steady videos in 4K resolution while the 16MP front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution. Available camera features for photography and videography in this smartphone include LED flash, HDR, panorama, Night mode, Portrait, OIS, gyro-EIS, etc.

Display, Design, and Durability

The Realme 10 Pro Plus has a 6.7-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. The front screen and back panel of the Realme 10 Pro+ are slightly curved. On the rear, it has a camera module in the top left corner while on the front it has a single punch hole that houses the front camera.

It features a Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and a 3.5mm headphone jack but has no space for a microSD card. The volume rocker and power button of the Realme 10 Pro+ are on the right side of the frame of the phone. While its microphone, stereo speaker grill, and USB Type-C charging port are on the bottom of the frame.

The Realme 10 Pro Plus comes in various RAM and storage configurations. It has 6GB of RAM + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB storage. As stated above, there is no space to expand storage via a microSD card. So, users will rely on internal storage and turn to cloud storage services when the internal storage is full.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the Realme 10 Pro Plus and it has support for 67W wired fast charging. You can charge the battery of this phone using the 67W charger from 0 to 100% in about 35 minutes. Another available charging feature is USB Power Delivery 3.0 but no wireless charging and no reverse wireless charging feature are available.

Software and Other Features

The Realme 10 Pro Plus boots Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. This phone will get at least three years of major software updates and monthly security patches. You can download and install apps from the Google Play Store on this phone and even download major updates over OTA.
