Xiaomi 14 Pro Specs: The Xiaomi 14 Pro is the latest premium smartphone from Xiaomi. The smartphone comes with some impressive specs which include the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, three 50MP rear cameras, a front camera that can record videos in 4K, 120W wired charging, etc.
For those who don’t know, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is the successor of the Xiaomi 13 Pro which was released in December last year. Xiaomi has redesigned and included more of the missing features from its predecessor. In this article, I’ll share the interesting specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone.

Xiaomi 14 Pro Specifications
Display and Design
The Xiaomi 14 Pro has a 6.73-inch curved display with a display resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. It has a 68B colors LTPO OLED display panel that can auto-refresh between 1Hz and 120Hz. The display of the phone has a peak brightness of 3000nits and has features such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision, etc.
The front screen is made of Xiaomi Longjing Glass and it has a glass back and its frame is made of aluminum or titanium. It has a punch hole on the screen that houses the selfie camera and a square rear camera module in the top left corner.

Chipset and Performance
The performance of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm. This 5G chipset has octa-core processors with one prime core, five performance cores, and two efficiency cores.
The prime core of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is the latest Cortex-X4 with a speed of 3.3GHz. This is estimated to be 32x faster than the Cortex-X3 prime core in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset now also has an improved Adreno 750 GPU which is about 34x better than the Adreno 740 GPU from last gen.
With the improved CPU cores, GPU, ISP, etc in this new chipset, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to have a significant boost in performance. The chipset features fast LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. According to Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has a 98% increase in AI computing power thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Camera: Photography and Video
Xiaomi 14 Pro has three rear cameras and a single front camera. The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera.
The primary camera has dual-pixel PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS features while the 75mm telephoto camera can do 3.2x optical zoom and has OIS feature. The front camera can record videos in 4K resolution, unlike the front camera of the Xiaomi 13.
Other camera features available in the Xiaomi 14 Pro are the Leica lens, Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, 8K video recording, AutoFocus, 4K video recording, gyro-EIS, HDR10+, 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR, 10-bit LOG, etc.

Software and UI
The Xiaomi 14 Pro boots the Android 14 software based on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS out of the box. Xiaomi has promised at least four years of major software updates for the smartphone. The HyperOS tweaks the UI and navigation of the Xiaomi 14 Pro and it looks really good.
Battery and Charging Features
The battery inside the Xiaomi 14 Pro is 4880mAh and it supports 120W wired fast charging. Other charging features in the phone include 50W wireless charging, PD3.0, QC4, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
It will take about 20 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 100% using the 120W charger. A single charge of the battery can last you for more than 24 hours and maybe be a little more depending on your usage.

Security
The primary security of the Xioami 14 Pro is the under-display optical fingerprint scanner. It also supports security systems like pattern, PIN, password, and Face Unlock. Available sensors include accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, barometer, color spectrum, etc.

The price of the Xiaomi 14 Pro phone is $899 for the model with 12 + 256GB storage. The models with 16 + 512GB and 16 + 1TB are sold for $999 and $1099 respectively. The exclusive Titanium color is only available in 16 + 1TB storage its price is $1199.
