The display and design of the iPhone 14 Pro+ and Galaxy S22+ are different. Apple iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inches display with a Super Retina XDR OLED panel that supports a 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. In contrast, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus has a slightly smaller 6.6-inches display with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The display of the Galaxy S22 Plus is brighter because its peak brightness is 1750 nits (iPhone 14 Plus is 1200 nits).
The front screen and back panel of the iPhone 14+ are flat but while the front screen of the Galaxy S22+ is flat, the back panel is slightly curved. The front screen of the iPhone has a cut-out notch while the front screen of the Samsung Galaxy has a simple punch hole. The bezels around the screen of the iPhone 14+ are thin but those of the Galaxy S22+ are thinner.
Apple iPhone 14 Plus is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), and aluminum frame. It is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) and has Scratch-resistant ceramic glass and oleophobic coating. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus+), glass back (Gorilla Glass Victus+), and aluminum frame. The design, display, and durability features available on both smartphones are top quality. The display on both smartphones is fast and smooth but the Galaxy S22 Plus supports a 120Hz refresh rate which is more smooth and faster than the iPhone 14 Plus. Both smartphones feel like a box but the iPhone 14 has sharp and flat edges while the Galaxy S22 Plus has a curved back panel that feels more comfortable to hold.

The 12MP main camera of the iPhone 14 Plus has an f/1.5 aperture, 1.9µm dual pixel PDAF, and 26mm focal length while the 50MP main camera of the Galaxy S22 Plus has an f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm PDAF, and 23mm focal length. The chipset in the iPhone 14 Plus is the Apple A15 Bionic chip while that of the Galaxy S22 Plus is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.
