The adoption rate of Huawei’s HarmonyOS is pretty impressive and allot of Huawei and Honor users are upgrading to the new OS without asking questions. According to a new report from CCTV News, as of August 6, the number of Huawei HarmonyOS 2 system upgrade users is now more than 50 million.
This such a tremendous growth because as of July 29, a previous report showed that HarmonyOS 2 active users were just over 40 million.

After the official announcement of the HarmonyOS system back in June, Huawei also started one of the largest upgrade plan in its history. The company announced that it will upgrade the HarmonyOS system for more than 100 devices before the second half of 2022.

The devices to be upgraded to the new OS includes both Huawei and Honor smartphones, tablets, smart screens, and more. Huawei also have plans that over 300 million devices will have HarmonyOS 2 by the end of 2021. About 200 million Huawei devices and 100 million from third-party OEMs.
Last week, the company started rolling out HarmonyOS 2 to fourteen new devices – Huawei and Honor devices.
