Samsung Galaxy Devices to Receive Android 12: Samsung might not be the best in terms of phone pricing but they sure are one of the best when it comes to software updates. Samsung been who they are, will likely be rolling out One UI 4,0 based on Android 12 to most if not all of its Galaxy devices.
With the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip coming, so many users are expecting the devices to have Android 12 paired with One UI 4.0. But, nothing is confirmed by the tech company yet even though pairing its latest UI with latest Android software has been how Samsung run its major software update.

Samsung has earlier stated that it’ll be offering three major Android OS updates to some of its Galaxy phones and tablets instead of two. With the above in mind, know that the Android 12 might not be available for some Galaxy devices. Also, the Android 12 might be the last major firmware update that some Samsung phones will get.
According to Samsung’s Android update policy, there are some of Galaxy phones and tablets that will receive Android 12 along with One UI 4.0 in the future. So, we made a list of these phones to help you see if you’ll get to enjoy this new software update.

The above policy about three major software update instead of two is only valid for galaxy devices that were released 2019 with Android 9 or later. Meaning, if your phone was released in 2018 and debuted with Android 8, it’s not eligible for three years software update.
It’s important to point out that the list below is not final and could change in the future. We’ll try to keep it up to date as more galaxy devices are added and with the release of Android 12 and One UI 4.0.
